Christopher Rogers, Ph.D., is a native of West Baltimore, Maryland. He was born, raised, licensed, and ordained in the "Baptist church" of Baltimore.

Dr. Rogers is devoted to ministering to the spiritual and health care needs of citizens locally, nationally, and internationally. His commitment to the kingdom of Elohim manifests through his interactions with people of all ages as he shares Scriptural principles, holistic living, and community development.

For many years, Elder Rogers faithfully preached and taught Elohim’s Word at The Baltimore Rescue Mission, where he ministered hope to homeless men of Baltimore.

Elder Rogers preached his initial sermon and was licensed in June 2011 and ordained in January 2019 at a Baptist church in Baltimore, Maryland. While there, he served as an Associate Minister, supporting the Senior Pastor in realizing the church's vision. He also led the Evangelism Ministry, casting the church’s evangelism vision, encouraging the saints to evangelize, and equipping them to perform evangelistic work using their spiritual gifts. Elder Rogers began his ministerial leadership as the Youth and Young Adult Minister, overseeing, planning, motivating, implementing, and coordinating lessons, programs, and activities for the spiritual and practical maturity of youth and young adults.

In 2021, Dr. Rogers resigned his membership from his home church in Baltimore to build the ministry he believed Elohim was calling him into. He did not have a clear blueprint for the ministry but followed the vision and direction from Elohim, much like Abraham was called to a foreign place without the entire blueprint. Assured by faith that Elohim was leading him to serve and shepherd people, Elder Rogers continued to pray, study, and seek the Master for guidance on the ministry's shape, form, and purpose.

Dr. Rogers founded Saving Grace Torah Ministries in 2024 with the mission to "make disciples, equip saints for kingdom building, and transform communities by teaching and following all that Yahshua Messiah commanded us to do in Scripture." Dr. Rogers' vision is to affirm the Hebraic roots of our belief by growing obedient followers of our Savior Immanuel through the word of Elohim’s grace. Pastor Rogers accomplishes this vision through powerful yet practical messages, emphasizing three principles that have quickly spread throughout the community: (1) trust and follow Yahshua Mashiach, (2) develop healthy relationships, and (3) gain meaningful education to produce life-changing results. Pastor Rogers proclaims this inspirational, timely, and relevant formula to encourage the hopeless, set the captives and oppressed free, and recover sight for the blind (Luke 4:18-19).

As an anointed preacher and teacher, he draws on his own shortcomings and life experiences as he enthusiastically proclaims the Gospel of Yahshua Messiah, moves the faith forward, and nurtures and transforms lives.
